What is the purpose of this website?
The primary purpose of this website is to showcase my work as a student of the ASU English Composition 101 course. Furthermore, it is a way to share my writing experiences with colleagues who would like to give me feedback and with students who would like to see some processes of writing, through the Writing Projects. For that reason, I have included into my projects not only the final draft but also the rough draft and the assignment sheet.
Through these writing projects, on Autoethnography, Ethnography, and Theory of Writing, as well as through the Writer's Journals, I aim to learn to write and write to learn. The feedback that I hope to receive from my professors, colleagues, peers, and students, will help me develop and enhance my writing and communication skills.
I have tried to design the website to be as accessible as possible, using proper fonts, colors, structure, captions and alternative text for every picture I have included. In the Writing Projects, I have enriched the text with images, videos, and audios.
